Genre

We have two levels of genre for most of our tracks. For instance we have over xxxxx Rock/Pop tracks so to make it easier to search we have split down rock/pop and other 'high level' genres into several sub genres. Sub genres will only be displayed where there are tracks associated, and so there shouldn't be too many fruitless searches.

Do you think some of our tracks are in the wrong Genre/Sub Genre - Do let us know and we will correct them for you. Email us at info@tracklicensing.com

How to license a track

In most cases we own or represent the master rights of each track's recording. You therefore will need to acquire permission to use the publishing rights from the relevant body such as MCPS in the UK. In the instances where we own both the master and publishing rights, we will of course advise you accordingly.

Most of our tracks come with worldwide rights. However, in some instances, this is not the case. Of course if you are seeking worldwide clearances for a track that does not have worldwide rights we will do our best to advise you of the best and most appropriate course of action or option.

Once you have selected a track to license, we will ask you to complete a simple track request form, which upon completing is sent to us and a copy to yourself. We then take this track request form and clarify our legal position and rights ownership. There may be some further questions we need to obtain from yourself before starting the formal licensing process and agreeing on the relevant fee. In some cases we will need to seek consent from the Artist and/or Artists Management Company before agreeing a contract with you.
